START Artist in Residency Programme – Jordan

The residency provides complimentary accommodation in the ‘START House’ and in exchange we ask each artist to volunteer their time in 5 START workshops per week. The START team will prepare the workshop supplies and support each artist to conceptualise an interactive workshop for refugee and orphaned children, along with children with special needs. START welcomes all artists of different art forms and nationalities that are passionate about children and wish to give back to the community.

Application Criteria: The ‘START House’ is open all year round and we welcome applications on a rolling basis.
