At the 2014 masquerade Ball, START Raised over $880,000 to support programmes that deliver art education and support to refugees, orphans and children with special needs across the Middle East.
START Auction conducted by by Lord Dalmeny of Sotheby's Auction House sold a series of works from celebrated artists including: SEEN, Tammam Azzam, Athier, eL Seed, Nadim Karam, Swoon, Blek Le Rat, Tahier Helal, Arne Quinze, Joe Black and Lita Cabellut attracted high bids from the evening’s patrons.
The evening welcomed over 260 patrons to a Masquerade themed evening in a transformed warehouse in Al Quoz. Every detail of the evening fully encompassed the theme, from the Louis Vuitton Mask Station to the food catered by Fait Maison.

The guests got an opportunity to wear a mask and hide their identities, but START focused on showing the faces of the children they educate and heal through their workshops, awarding two scholarships during the evening, supported by OMD and Stephenson Harwood. PespiCo announced partnership to launch START Egypt. supporting more vulnerable children, giving them the opportunity to learn and develop through the START programme.
