Children are fundraising
All children who make art work through START can donate their work to the charity for auction.
Schools can host exhibitions of student’s (their own or START’s) art to raise funds.
You Can Help!
Get involved or give a gift
Energise a cultural debate, facilitate a children’s programme, get sponsored to run a marathon, host a START dinner and collaborate through your networks to fundraise ... fundraising can be creative.
Whatever your gift: an auction item, your time, an idea, a contact, your action will directly help a child.
Take up one of the following fundraising targets and create the infrastructure for an entire project with your generosity.
Fee based workshops
In Dubai and with our exchange programmes in London and New York START hosts workshops which are paid for by those attending and the fees are direct donations for the charity. Any artist can host a workshop on behalf of START, contact us to receive information and ideas about hosting an art workshop on behalf of the charity.
£8,000 Lebanon
To support workshops for up to100 children for 10 months in the refugee camps
To provide Art Materials
To support 3 local artists for 10 months (with assistance to networks internationally – for sustained funds)
To fund an international supporting artist for 12 sessions
To sustain contacts made with on-going support from START for a minimum two year period.
£1,000 Dubai
Working creatively with special needs children in drawing workshops that encourage them to observe local flora and fauna.
Working with low-income families whose children are socially and educationally excluded and are facing illiteracy.
